Kencia Boutique is named after my grandmother — a woman who embodied quiet elegance. She was caring, loving, and completely selfless. Soft and reserved, yet deeply respected. Although she didn't know how to read or write, you would never know by the way she carried herself. Her presence spoke with dignity long before she ever had to.

She didn't have much, but she made everything look like enough. No matter what she owned, she wore it with grace. She believed in love — even for the ones who didn't show love in return. She lived that way. With humility. With patience. With standards.

One of my most cherished memories is her teaching me how to sew. That's where it started. My love for fashion. My appreciation for detail. My understanding that beauty isn't about how much you have — it's about how you present what you have. She made me feel loved. She made me feel capable.

She is no longer here, and I never got the chance to give her the world the way she gave to everyone else. So I'm honoring her the only way I know how — by building something in her name.
